At 28, Tim Lahann is already one of the more experienced talents in the air freight team headed by Anne Ebeling (39). In 2013, he began his professional life as a trainee in the Port Communications department. He now works as a Java developer and, in his spare time, is completing a master's degree in business informatics with the University of Hagen distance learning program. He has found a good mentor in Anne, who started as a project manager at DAKOSY in 2014 and has led the air freight team since 2020. She quickly noticed that Tim enjoys delving into more specialized tasks and new topics and, in particular, is able to engage with different kinds of people and approaches. As this is a very valuable qualification in the project environment, she particularly encourages him in this direction. Tim has now successfully completed his first project of his own, which involved the introduction of the slot booking system at a cargo handling agent, and is looking forward to new ones where he can also take on more responsibility.
One of the highlights of the year for both of them and the entire ten-member air freight team was a two-day visit to Frankfurt Airport, where they were able to experience live, directly on the customer's site, how their platform is used and helps those involved to optimize their processes. Anne is convinced that this practical check strengthens the team spirit and the commitment to the project tremendously.
